Designation
The «Ballistics – Flight» system is a software (software/hardware) complex designed for modeling the movement, characteristics of electromagnetic scattering and the infrared radiation of ballistic objects.
Special features
— high authenticity of the simulated information taking into account the parameters of the atmosphere and plasma formations;
— wide range of carrier frequencies of the simulated radar signals;
— possibility of simulating wideband and narrow-band radars with different modulation laws;
— possibility of simulating IR radiation in a number of bands;
— visualization in the demonstration of modeling and discrimination processes;
— flexibility and scalability of the Systems, possibility of expanding the database of ballistic objects used.
Capabilities
The system enables:
— analyzing the dynamics of movement of ballistic missiles, real and false ballistic objects/decoys, as well as the anti-missile during all flight phases, taking into account their characteristics;
— taking into account the parameters of signals emitted by the acquisition
radar and guidance radar when modeling the characteristics of electromagnetic
scattering of real and false ballistic objects/decoys;
— taking into account the parameters of real and false ballistic objects/decoys sensed by the anti-missile’s seeker, when simulating the IR radiation characteristics;
— modeling the discrimination of real and false ballistic objects using the acquisition radar, guidance radar, antimissile IR seeker, for various combinations of these assets, and evaluating its effectiveness.
