Designation
Search, direction-finding, technical analysis and radio monitoring of VHF/ UHF-band (30‒6000 MHz) radio emission sources, both fixed frequency and frequency-hopping spread spectrum (FHSS) ones.
Main functions
— detection, direction-finding and positioning of ground and aerial fixed-frequency and FHSS radio emission sources;
— technical analysis of signals;
— unscrambling open types of digital radio transmissions;
— detection and positioning of aircraft by their transponder signals;
— operation as part of a direction-finding net with “Grif” and “Groza-6” stations;
— operation under control of a “Berezina” control post.
