Designation
Detection of aerial objects (hereinafter, AOs), determination of their azimuth, range, altitude and flight speed, AO tracking and classification, transfer of radar information to command posts of air defense units.
Capacities and advantages
— detection and tracking of AOs at 4 to 470 km ranges, within 360˚ in azimuth and from minus 3 to 45˚ in elevation;
— automatic measurement of AO spatial coordinates — range, azimuth, range rate, elevation;
— automatic classification the tracked AOs (5 classes);
— use of three-channel automatic jamming (sidelobe) cancelers, clutter suppression systems, anti-spot jamming techniques;
— digital shaping and processing of signals using state-of-the-art highly efficient algorithms;
— automatic continuous functional check (BITE) of all devices of the radar, with identification of the failed replaceable standard element;
— automated radar travel-to-combat and combat-to-travel status transfers;
— mounting all the radar equipment, including power supply means, on a single high cross-country capacity truck chassis.
